Mrs Basu’s Uncensored Familism

🔷 BOOK: MRS BASU’S UNCENSORED FAMILISM
🔷 AUTHOR: Chirasree Bose

My Review:
Mrs Basu’s Uncensored Familism is a novel written by the author Chirasree Bose. The protagonist of the story is a newly married bride Mrs Arpita Basu. She wasn’t that much attractive physically. She is fat, dark complexion etc. Her husband Akash didn’t treat her nicely and her mother-in-law also is not supportive at all.

For first six months, she tried to do everything to make her husband and mother-in-law happy but she failed. Soon, she started questioning the concept of familism.

The storyline is nice and the book is written well. Cover page of the book is very attractive. Overall, I enjoyed reading this story and definitely recommend it to those who love to read stories that revolves around family issues.

My Rating: 4.5/5
